Communicating

with Families

  • From the start of 2023 we will be using the OWNA childcare App for newsletters and communication from the Rooms about the educational program activities and  incursions,

  • Information about general preschool events, activities and special dates will be posted regularly on noticeboards in the foyer 

  • Preschool Facebook Page - see link at the bottom of this page

  • Weekly documentation of children's learning is available for families in the 

    • Floorbooks, and 

    • Children's learning books

  • Appointments can be made at any time with our Director or Room Leaders to discuss your child's development,

  • An End of year developmental summary is completed for returning children, and 

  • Transition to School Statements are completed for children starting school each year

Families are encouraged to become involved in the preschool in whatever ways they are able. This could be membership of our Management Committee, fundraising activities, sharing skills and knowledge with the children, helping at working bees, or donating reusable resources for our craft supplies.
