Alstonville Community Preschool employs highly experienced and qualified educators to design and deliver the educational programs of learning here.
We are committed to providing higher educator:child ratios than required for each group, and our programs of learning are overseen by university qualified Early Childhood Teachers.
Our staff team is a very cohesive and committed group of 14 early childhood professionals dedicated to continuous improvement and excellence in early childhood education.
All educators are either Early Childhood Teachers, Diploma of Children’s Services (Early Childhood Education and Care) trained and qualified, or hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, and together have many years’ of practical experience in the early childhood field to contribute to the excellence in programs and practice at our preschool.
All of our staff are supported by time and budgeting for ongoing professional development, team collaboration, planning and reflection.
Preschool Director - Narelle Walker
Narelle has a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood and an Advanced Diploma of Community Sector Management.
She has been a Director of various early childhood centres and preschools in Victoria and NSW since 1983, and has many years of professional experience to contribute to our preschool.
Educational Leader - Hannah Nunn
Hannah has a Bachelor of Education and as one of our Early Childhood Teachers at our preschool, works as both Room Leader and Educational Leader, adding her expertise and educational leadership skills to the continuous improvement of educational programs and practice at this preschool.
Naomi Blythe is our Administration Assistant and is the person to see about fees, and other enrolment matters.
