Funded by the NSW Department Educations Start Strong Pathways Program, this Playgroup aims to provide an opportunity for families with children aged 2-3 yrs to have an early introduction to a preschool (Early childhood education) service.

 

Playgroup is run each Wednesday morning during school terms for parents to come together to enjoy play with their children, and also provides a great opportunity for getting to know other parents and to chat about all things “parenting”.

 

The Playgroup is facilitated by early childhood educators who are available during each session to discuss children’s development through play, with families. There is an emphasis on nature based activities and on parents being 'partners in play' with their children. 

 

Topics of interests regarding child development and providing support to parents around play and development are presented throughout the year.
